Mercy Support Services brings its annual Comedy Night back to Clay County with two free, family-friendly shows on Saturday, Aug. 29, and Sunday, Aug. 30.
The first performance starts at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at River Christian Church, 5900 US Hwy 17, in Fleming Island. The second runs at the same time Sunday at First Baptist Church of Orange Park, 1140 Kingsley Ave.
Both shows run until 8 p.m. Admission is free.
Seating is limited and first come, first served. Mercy Support Services said it strongly encourages attendees to RSVP in advance so organizers can plan ahead and hold seats. Registration for either night is available through Mercy's official page. An Eventbrite listing provides event details but is not the official registration.
The Town of Orange Park listed the event on its official calendar, and the Clay Chamber of Commerce posted both dates on its community calendar.
Comedy Night is one of Mercy Support Services' three signature fundraising events. The Orange Park-based nonprofit runs a Self-Sufficiency Program that assists families facing homelessness in Clay County with stabilized housing, financial training and life skills. Donations are welcome at both performances, according to Mercy Support Services.
The organization held its 2025 Comedy Night on Saturday, Aug. 23, and Sunday, Aug. 24, at both River Christian Church in Fleming Island and First Baptist Church of Orange Park. No performers have been announced for either night.
