Clay County businesses will offer discounts and promotions on Friday, Sept. 4, as part of the annual 904 Day celebration tied to Northeast Florida's 904 area code.
The day brings together shops, restaurants and attractions across Orange Park and Green Cove Springs. Clay County Tourism's ExploreClay website lists nine promotions for the day. Action News Jax also previewed the celebration.
Confirmed deals include 20% off at Courtyard Jacksonville Orange Park, 50% off tickets to Vintage Market Days, a 904 Day sale at 5th & Paisley, and a special event at Let's Create Studios. Residents can also buy advance tickets to the Clay County Pro Rodeo and the Dig N Dirt event scheduled for Oct. 3-4. A Food Truck Friday Jags Rally and a Celebrate Clay History Passport round out the listed offerings.
The celebration has no single central venue. Participating businesses host their own promotions throughout the day.
Clay County Tourism encourages participants to tag social media posts with #ExploreClay and #904Day. Businesses can submit promotions to be featured on the ExploreClay 904 Day page.
The free Explore Clay app offers curated tours of the county's history, coffee shops and attractions for residents planning their route. ExploreClay.com also suggests walking the historic streets of Orange Park and Green Cove Springs to find local boutiques and scenic spots.
