Small-business owners in Fleming Island can learn how to put artificial intelligence to work for their marketing at a free workshop Thursday, Oct. 29, at the Fleming Island Library.

The one-hour session, titled "Small Business Workshop: AI for Marketing and Branding," runs from noon to 1 p.m. in the library's meeting room. It is open to adults 18 and older, and no technical background is required, Action News Jax reported.

The Clay County Public Library is hosting the event in partnership with the Florida Small Business Development Center at the University of North Florida, according to the library's event listing. The Florida SBDC at UNF is part of the statewide America's SBDC Florida network, which provides workshops and events to anyone starting or growing a business.

The workshop will cover practical ways to use AI tools for social media, emails, branding, design, customer reviews and market research, according to the library. The library said AI can save small-business owners time and help them compete with larger competitors.

Attendees will leave with tools, real examples and tips they can apply right away, the library said.

The workshop is free, and registration is required through the library’s calendar. Availability is limited. Questions can be emailed to [email protected].

The Fleming Island Library is located at 1895 Town Center Blvd.
