Orange Park families can pick from three kids' activities running through Saturday, Sept. 19.

The Orange Park Branch Library, part of the Clay County Library System, is offering "Holiday Take & Makes for School Age" from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily through Sept. 19, according to a Clay County Times events listing published Saturday, Sept. 12. The drop-in program is open during regular library hours. Jason Black serves as branch manager at the library.

Orange Park Mall, at 1910 Wells Road, is hosting daily "Sensitive Santa" sessions from 10 to 11:30 a.m. through Sept. 19. The sessions are part of the Sensitive Santa program, which features reduced lighting and music, staff trained in sensory-friendly practices and a smaller number of guests to cut down on crowds and wait times.

Advance registration is required.

No purchase is necessary to book a visit, and photo packages are optional. The program serves families of children with sensory sensitivities or special needs. Both the library program and the Sensitive Santa sessions have been running daily throughout September, according to the Clay County Times' monthly calendar.

On Thursday, Sept. 17, Asbury United Methodist Church, at the corner of College Drive and Blanding Boulevard, hosts "Krafty Kritters" from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. The church runs the program every Thursday in September, with a final session on Thursday, Sept. 24. Details on cost and whether registration is required were not listed in the event calendar.
