St. Johns Country Day's Brynley Proffitt has piled up 123 assists through eight volleyball matches this season, placing her among the top statistical performers in FHSAA Class 1A.

MaxPreps listed Proffitt's full stat line through Saturday, Sept. 26, as 123 assists, 48 digs, 13 serving aces, 11 kills and eight total blocks. The site ranks her in the top 50 in Class 1A and in the top two in 1A District 2 in one statistical category.

Proffitt's biggest single-game performance came Thursday, Sept. 17, when she recorded 50 assists in a five-set match against Keystone Heights. The Spartans fell 2-3 in that contest.

St. Johns Country Day School Athletics posted on X on Friday, Sept. 25, that Proffitt had reached 112 assists at that point in the season. The post also credited her with 11 kills and 48 digs. Her assist total has since risen to 123, reflecting additional matches played after the post.

Proffitt is part of a Spartans roster with multiple contributors. Kendall Proffitt, also on the varsity squad, led the team with 29 kills through 14 sets earlier this season, according to Clay Today.

The Orange Park independent school sits at 5-3 overall and 2-1 in 1A District 2 play, good for second place in the district standings as of Sept. 26, per MaxPreps.
