Orange Park Mall brings live reptiles to families Friday, Aug. 28, with a free hands-on show near the Belk entrance.
The event, called Friday Night Safari, runs from 6 to 7 p.m. at the mall at 1910 Wells Road. All ages are welcome, and no tickets or registration are required.
Action News Jax highlighted the show, calling it a chance for residents to get close with live cold-blooded creatures.
According to the mall's event listing, Friday Night Safari is an interactive experience featuring live reptiles, fun facts and hands-on encounters for kids and parents. The program refreshes each month with different animals and demonstrations, so repeat visitors see a new lineup every time.
The mall said the show is designed for "curious kids and brave animal lovers" and encouraged families to arrive early and grab dinner before the show begins.
