The 44th Annual Orange Park Fall Festival returns to Town Hall Park on Saturday, Oct. 17, and Sunday, Oct. 18. The two-day event brings more than 200 artists and vendors, two stages of live entertainment and over 30 food vendors.
The festival runs 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days and features a Kids Zone with rides, inflatables, pony rides and family activities. Shoppers can browse handmade pottery, artwork, jewelry and quilts alongside classic festival fare like funnel cakes and turkey legs.
The Town of Orange Park requested a $15,000 signature event grant from the Clay County Tourist Development Council for this year's festival, according to the council's Sept. 2 agenda packet. Whether the grant was approved has not been confirmed.
The GFWC Orange Park Woman's Club and Orange Park Little Woman's Club will both have booths at the festival on both days.
The festival is one of several Orange Park events highlighted in Clay County Tourism's 2026 Fall Events Guide, published Wednesday, Sept. 30, by Tourism Marketing Manager Cher Malta.
Moonlight on Magnolia walks through Orange Park's past
The Historical Society of Orange Park will host Moonlight on Magnolia on Saturday, Oct. 24, at Magnolia Cemetery, 1040 Kingsley Ave. Admission is free.
In previous years, free guided tours have started at 4 p.m. and continued until dark, according to the Historical Society. Volunteers portray former Orange Park residents and share stories from the town's past through living history presentations along the cemetery paths. The Historical Society describes the event as a family-friendly way to learn about local history.
Free parking is available at First Baptist Church of Orange Park. Visitors arriving after 6 p.m. should bring a flashlight.
For those who prefer an indoor experience, the Historical Society will present "Pre-Moonlight on Magnolia: An Armchair Tour of Some Special Orange Parkers" on Monday, Oct. 19, from 6 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. at the Orange Park Library, Meeting Room A, 2054 Plainfield Ave. The presentation features stories of past Orange Park residents not included in the cemetery walk, told by multiple speakers with a visual backdrop.
Contact Cindy Cheatwood at [email protected] for more information about the Historical Society's events.
